Running two kettles at the same time, the Customer had to make sure no critical situations would come up when it was time to change them. He had to make sure at least one kettle would be running while the other was changed and did not want any trouble. But when one repaired kettle failed with a crack, the Customer understood he had to switch to regular inspections.
Zinco proposed a thick grid of inspection and a check every other six months. We also offered technical consultation on the damaged kettle and suggested means of improving the performance. To complete the package, our simulation tools came handy in calculating wear progression, while we were also able to propose off-season pumping services with a discount. This produced significant peace of mind for the Customer, as well as interesting savings on our services.
