When a KID inspection is carried out, data shows some worrisome results. It is time to schedule a quick turn-key kettle change!
A highly productive captive plant is showing problems during a KID inspection. So the Customer needs a urgent intervention to be fully coordinated by Zinco. Time constraint: maximum 8 days of downtime.
Zinco starts by organizing transport of needed equipment within 24 hours from the Order. Technical checklists are sent to the Customer, so that he can gather all the local equipment and furnace materials needed. A conference call is setup with a local rigger to discuss and approve the method of kettle extraction and positioning. Finally, a Zinco crew gets on site and the project is carried out within six days, ending successfuly ahead of schedule and with maximum efficiency and safety.
