Although he knew his electric furnace was taking good care of the kettle, our Customer wanted to gather more data and have more awareness of the life cycle of the plant.

Thanks to annual KID inspections, the Customer was able to determine which areas of the kettle were being more impacted by the heat and fine tuned the furnace to respond to the data. The result was a more balanced corrosion process, as well as great peace of mind in scheduling kettle changes ahead of time.
